B747Genx_Sp (X-Plane)

I don't really understand the installation instructions. I don't have an "xDreamEngine" folder in the plugins folder of my ssg 747. Do I have to create one? And what should be in the xDreamEngine folder? And in the picture I see a "new folder". Is that the folder that renamed to "xDreamEngine" or is that an extra folder? I have the SSG 748 V2.8rc1. Can someone explain it to me please?

The engines sound on ground and on airborne with slow speeds are too quiet or the winds sound are too loud. Either way the engines are being drowned out by winds, hope you can fix that.

There is an issue with this pack I believe. I have constant thunder & lightning sounds from take off to landing even with clear weather assigned in XPlane11.

Hey! This sound pack completely breaks down the whole plane (2.5.1_XP11) for me. Everything is dead and no sound at all. Tried both 1.73 and 1.72, no luck at all. Sound pack for Toils and Zibo work amazingly

Hi, I have a problem with the newest 2.5 update, if i turn on hydraulics outside i can hear them but after that they never turn off, if i play a replay and come back then i find them turned off.

The Sounds Works fine even on the latest SSG update 1/ Make sure the "fmod" folder is installed correctly ( inside the Aircraft Main folder ) 2/ check the SGG volumes ( see the "B747_Sp(Genx).pdf" )

Updating the SSG : 1/ Restore the "XDreamEngine" inside it's default location ( inside "plugins" folder ) 2/ Delete the "SASL_SSGB748" from the "plugins" folder 3/ Update the aircraft 4/ Re-install the Sound Pack

Was just about to come in here and report that the soundpack is incompatible with the 2.4 version of the aircraft. Then I noticed you're working on updates. Can't wait for a fix, the SSG becomes a new aircraft with this soundpack.

Hello, just tried this soundpack on XP11 / SSG 2.3.1. After install like in the text file I don´t have any sounds in the cockpit or outside the aircraft at all.

yes ! , i forgot to mention it on the ".txt" file that you need to relocate the "xDreamEngine" folder (Exp : move it inside a new folder)

1 / open the SSG_B748-xxx.snd with ".txt" editor 2/ look for this Parameter BEGIN_SOUND_SPACE SOUND_INDEX 0 BLEND_DEPTH 0.2 AABB -3.4 -1.8 -31 3.4 5.8 30 END_SOUND_SPACE 3/ Change the first value "-3.4" to -10 and the 4th value "3.4" to 10 You can add or Reduce the -10/10 as you want = it will make the interior sound space wider But for the Elevation change the 5th value "5.8" to 10 or more

Hi! Love the sounds. Is there a way to enable the interior sounds when using wingviews etc? Setting a wingview means I need to move outside the fuselage (otherwise it will appear blue) and that enables the exterior sounds.

Fantastic sounds ! However I noticed version 1.6 of this soundset is silent . I named the .snd file the same as the .acf , made sure my sound volumes are up, and I did a correct installation and still getting no sound . I Also tried the “Fix(SSG)” and 1.6 is still silent

Hi there first of all excellent work on the sounds of this aircraft makes it really flyable. However I've noticed when I want to taxi the aircraft to a runway or to a gate it does not want to move at all. If anyone here or the dev can help with this problem that would be really helpful I would love to take this lovely plane up in the air. Many thanks in advance.

Yes !! You need to remove "xdreamengine" from the "plugins" folder (or place in another location ) to disable the Default engine sounds Note : the "Xdreamengine" have only the Engines , autopilot warning & Avionics sounds Hint : > do not delete the "xdreamengine" because you'll need it when updating the Aircraft - You can move it inside "SASL_SSGB748" or "FJCC'" or ... then before updating the Aircraft just restore it to its default location for a fast update

With version 1.6 im guessing we aren't supposed to delete the Xdreamengine like with previous versions? The problem with this is it leaves the constant hissing of the default engines which ruins things slightly.

Use the SSG PAD Volumes ( It was noted also in the .PDF file ) , just select "DEFAULT SETTINGS" on the "SOUNDS Page for quick volume change

Hi, I can't hear any sound at all, no switches, no levers, no systems, anything. Replaced xLua folder, checked snd name with acf name, XP sounds on, all good, I'm totally lost.

I hear no sounds like avionics etc. I can hear the buttons and switches but no avionics. I removed the old 1.5 fmod sounds and then I installed 1.6 but no avionics sounds. All sounds are set to max (x plane menu and tablet). It must be something in xlua

- Yeah ... the ground noises are a bit soft, i'm always adding new ones every update , it just need more cockpit shaking noises - Check the "Aircraft Exterior" volume maybe it is a bit lower , if you mean the "Exteriors" are quiet on Distance ! , i can re-edit the View Parameters .

I just completed a flight with this sound pack. The interior sound is great, but I noticed there was no sound upon landing, I actually couldn't tell the moment I touched the runway. Also, the exterior sound seems a lot lower than the interior.

I noticed a small issue on the SSG 747 v2 - the engine sound sometimes disappear after entering replay mode, and will not continue even after exiting it. It usually happens if I rewind the time to the beginning of the flight, regardless of its length. Otherwise, great stuff, thanks a lot :)

The 747 GenX soundpack is really great but there are some issues I have in the SSG 747v2. There is no sound when I turn on the packs (no airbleed sound). The fuel pump switches have no sound. The FMC has no buttons sound. A fire test sound would be great. And a really important sound is missing: The Autopilot disconnect sound is missing. During replay the sounds do not work and when I disable replay the sounds don't work correctly anymore. Overall it is a great soundpack and I love it. These little bugs should be fixed, please :) Thanks in advance

The clicking sound doesn´t go away even using the "Disable MCP" and the 1.3.1 update. The clicking sound starts as soon as i activate VNAV and then it keeps clicking like hell all the time during take-off and landing. It also keeps clicking sporadic during flight. I use the SSG v2.1.1. Please get that issue fixed

Use "Disable MCP" attached above : it will disable all Autopilot buttons but keep only the ND & EICAS

I could be wrong but I believe they don't have the v2 as they were asking others if there were any issues - so if you have v2, I'd test it and hopefully we can do the testing for them

Make a copy of the "SSG_B748-I_11.snd" and rename it to "SSG_B748-F_11.snd"
