Thank you to everyone who reached out at the convention, or attended my talk. Public speaking does not come naturally to me, but in the end I trusted that my enthusiasm would carry me through. While the talk was not able to be recorded (I tried!) I am feeling more confident about the idea of recording some podcast style talks just for Patreon about aspects of the book. Please stay tuned for that.

After saying my goodbyes on Sunday I headed to the bus stop, but the bus never arrived. Now in retrospect I can appreciate just how Lovecraftian it is to get trapped in New England by a broken down bus, but in the moment it was just stressful. Luckily my friends Rebecca and Eric swooped in to save me, and I returned home the next day.

I need to give special thanks to Andrew Leman who bound up a copy of the first 550 pages. This tome continued to generate interest even on my bus ride back to Maine.

And finally, happy birthday to Howard Lovecraft. He would have been 134 today.
