End of Year Summary
Added 2021-12-30 09:48:14 +0000 UTCAt year's end
December is almost over, and the new year approaches soon enough. Looking back, I am so humbled and baffled that it has gone this well. I was hoping to get some side-cash from this venture, and now I am hopefully going to be able to work less and do more creative things in my free time. This is huge for me, and I am super grateful for that opportunity.
In these 9 months, I have written 20 patreon stories, 5 bonus stories, a few extra things here and there, and more. Looking back, it’s been super productive, with some hiccups here and there *cough* Hannah *cough* that have been straightened out. I’ve noticed that my stories have been becoming longer, reaching to what I estimate 5k words, but it differs now and then. But I'm having a good time doing it.
Walking the path of a patreon creator, working with deadlines, conferring with commissioners (read: people who win the patreon elections) it’s all a ton of fun to me, and I like being pushed into different directions from what I usually end up doing. A bit of grounding is good for me and I am looking forward to the future. At times, I worry that I do things too strangely, but it looks like that doesn’t push you away.
Above all, I am happy to have your trust, and I will keep working to keep it.
Looking back, I’ve noticed a bit of a pattern on what I really like to write about.
The illusion of normalcy.
I love, love, LOVE the idea of something normal and mundane stepping behind closed doors to reveal that its all kinky all along. I’ve done quite a bit of a “fake incest” run lately (Forbidden Fruit, Auntie Annie, Laying Low) because of the taboo attatched makes it fun. Mother and daughter, mother and son. It’s not just about the incest part, its about the illusion of normalcy that makes it so much fun to write about for me. Same with the dog suit.
I will try not to over-do this kind of thing, but it just happens to help me be super productive and thus engaged with my writing. Don't think though that I view my patreon commissions with any sense of dread or struggle. I very, very much enjoy working on commissions and discussing ideas and stories in my discord. If you’re a patron of mine ,and not there, I would suggest you join, because you’re missing out. (https://discord.gg/bjTcxDUm)
This all is still, unreal. Your level of support to me, is just…so..great. I know i keep repeating it, but I do personally believe that the truth needs to be said. And the truth is, thank you, you make a lot of things in my life possible once again, and I feel super hopeful for the future.
To wrap up, I would like to give you the opportunity now to give feedback (if you want to) on anything you’d like. The way I run my patreon, communication, my stories and themes, the way I write, and I will take it to heart. I always strive to better, and offer you patrons a better service.
Thank you, once again,
Sam Moose.
p.s. Cerkiew's story is coming soon, though I can't promise it will be here before years end. before next week, definitly!
