Included is the photo after I hosed away a lot of water and it stopped actively flooding my apartment..

So, I'm late to my commitments, and it seems unlikely that I will finish this week. The month ends on Friday, and both commited stories are...20 % in. I'm nowhere done, and have not yet started on next month's stories.

What happened was that I came back from vacation and back into working life and ended up having a tough time adjusting back, lacking a lot of energy to write. That lasted throughout the first week and weekend. So, I thought, I would just...take the second weekend off, doing nothing, relaxing and unwinding to get back into it.

And that saturday morning, my apartment flooded. The photo here is after I spent half an hour hosing against the rising water while two friends helped contain the damage indoors. After a rainstorm, my balcony filled up so high (it was double as high as the photo) that 3 of my rooms flooded. So yeah, I didn't get my rest that weekend either.

So here I am, behind on my commitments. I'm working on them now, and trying to sort this out but so far, its not going to be happening this month. I hope to straighten things out next month and then to get back into the normal groove of things.

I'm sorry for being late, but I am doing my best to make it up to you, and will continue to do so.
