Patrons votes and charging upfront

Dear patrons,

I don't think I did a very good job when deciding which tiers have voting power. It seems a bad idea to lock votes to higher patrons since the majority of you are from the lower tiers and I would like to take all of your opinions into account. This was also pointed to me by one of you.

So, I propose to change to a system like this.

• Tier 1 patrons: 1 vote
• Tier 2 patrons: 2 votes
• Tier 3 patrons: 5 votes
• Tier 4 and 5 patrons: 10 votes

This roughly matches the monetary contributions and seems fair to me.

When will these votes be used?

To be honest, probably not very often. I have a story and a plan for the game that I’m not willing to compromise much. This, however, is kind of a “basic plan” that ensures that there will be enough kinks in game to cover all skills.

But I don't yet know how many different paths and kinky choices there will be for each girl, and if there will be more extra characters to play with. The issue is that this can very quickly get really complicated and go over my head.

This base plan can be extended based on:

• How much time/money I can dedicate to game development.
• If I can upgrade my machine to pose/render with high quality and faster times.
• Which extra characters will become popular amongst yourselves and deserving of bigger story arcs and lewd scenes.

This means that there might be situations where I, due to time or resources limitations, can't include in the game every single alternative path, sex scene, character and/or story arc that comes to my mind. In such cases, the best thing to do might be let you vote in your favorite option.

Also, if/when we hit important patreon milestones, I'd like everyone to vote in how to commemorate. It will probably involve some simple things like me trying to make a pretty wallpaper of the most voted character, but we can also try more original ideas or any suggestions you might have at the time.

Charging new patrons upfront

So far, I’m not charging new patrons upfront. This means that all of you were only charged at the start of the next month after you became my patron. Since I only had a public build, this made perfect sense. People subscribing in the middle of August shouldn't pay the August and September fees when they didn't really got any benefit from it.

However, with release of chapter 2 this is no longer the case. From now on, I would prefer to avoid this sytem where anyone can become a patron, download the game, and unregister immediately after without being charged anything. This seems unfair to me, but also to those of you that make contributions expecting the rewards.

So, if none of you have strong feelings about this, I will start charging new patrons upfront.
