Patron Update #9 - A small change

Hey everybody, hope you're doing well. We officially got a shitload of snow, so it's a winter wonderland where I'm right now. Comfy or uncomfy depending on the circumstances.

Last update, I mentioned that Yakuza 5 would be the next game I'd be dropping a review on - I'm making a minor change. Now, I've decided to delay that video a bit despite having worked on it already. Instead, I'll be releasing a "Games made in RPG maker mega-review" (working title), in which I do shorter, traditional reviews on a total of 10 games made in RPG Maker. Both this RPG Maker video as well as Yakuza will hopefully be out this month, although it's possible that we'll be looking at early December for Yakuza.

If you're interested, here are the RPG Maker games I'll be covering:

- Yume Nikki
- Space Funeral
- Fear & Hunger
- OneShot
- Toilet in Wonderland
- Hylics
- Lawmage Academy
- The Witch's House
- Suits: A Business RPG
- To The Moon

Many of these were suggested or recommended to me by Patrons or people who follow me on Twitter, so let it be known that I listen to suggestions! This has been a fun video to make, so I hope you enjoy it.

Intense is the right word. Wasn't expecting to be affected as much as I was by some of these games. They say brevity is the soul of wit, so let's just say this video will be a bit of a stress-test! All of the games are completed, footage is collected, just working on scripts. The bizarre games like Hylics acted as a nice palate cleanser in between the heavy hitters (To The Moon got me the most)

Let's see...from that list, I've played Yume Nikki, Fear & Hunger, OneShot, Hylics, The Witch's House, Suits, and To the Moon. Of the games I recognize, there is not a single game that I'm not extremely excited to hear your thoughts on -- which also makes me excited for the three I'm not familiar with. All of that said...while it's true that these games are on the shorter side...that lineup seems...extremely intense. I'm not sure of how many of these you've already gone through, but the sheer quantity of emotional impact there seems really high to go through in succession like that. There are at least three games on that list that I'd say have enough going on in them to do a full length analysis for each of those alone. Not that one can't do a smaller analysis, but...wow. That's a lot. Also, this means that either you or someone who follows your content other than myself is aware that Suits exists. When I saw the announcement, I definitely wasn't expecting that title in this list.

I haven't even heard of half of these so I'll be excited to learn a bit about them!

P.S. You may be wondering why I'm not covering some heavy hitters like Omori & Lisa. I decided to cover shorter games to keep this video a manageable length. If I cover those games at some point, I'd like to give them the time & attention they deserve.
