Cuddling
Added 2020-05-27 13:00:32 +0000 UTCAfter taking a nice ten day break from anything drawing or comic related, I'm sailing the boat back to comic scripting! Namely GGaR and its remaining storylines.
I will cry hard when it ends. No doubt about it.
Thankfully, not only do I have a cuddling cat on my lap, but we also have a bit of time before the end comes.
I am looking at two more chapters, and aiming end of 2020. While it's not written in stone, that's the direction I currently feel is best. Two more chapters to wrap it all up into a beautiful cocoon and watch together the butterfly take off.
(Couldn't resist a little metaphor there, sorry to all metaseptics) ;)
It's such an amazing journey. And you being here to support me through this journey helps me and my comics so, so much. Thanks to you, I can focus entirely on my art, in a peaceful and healthy environment, making it all that much easier for me to give it the quality it deserves.

2020-06-18 01:23:00 +0000 UTCI remember when I learnt that Bill Watterson had eventually just stopped writing Calvin & Hobbes. I was like 12 and I was maniacally trying to get my hand on all of C&H, all of my pocket money was going to used C&H comic books, Half of the jokes went above my head but still, I was a massive fan (still am, i guess). And then I learned that there was a finite amount of it, and that this amazing genius of a writer and artist had basically retired, because he believed if he kept going he would make less interesting comics. and I think I wasn't old enough to respect and appreciate the integrity of that decision, you know? All I remember is that sinking feeling of "Noooo!!! Whyyy???!!!" Yeah.. I expect that's how I'll feel when GGaR ends. ...Plus the respect and gratitude though ;)
