A month of sea, work and calm. September was such a great month for us<3

Thank you so much for your continued support and for allowing me to live such moments with a piece of mind. You rock and you're gorgeous and I love you.

You know, after GGaR ends (obligatory "aaaaaaaaah" in parentheses) I'd like to try something out: get just one comic book published by a french/belgian publisher to experience seeing a comic of mine in a comic store here. And then I can start a new webcomic that'll probably last ten years once more. But I hope you understand if I get out of my comfort zone that is the internet and the webcomic world (that I am ever grateful for) and experience a whole part of the comic world I have yet to live. If I publish this french comic book, I'll do my best to translate it myself in english and have it available more internationally. For once though, I'll have publishers that will have their own say in these matters, so I can't promise anything, but I'll try my best :)

I'm really excited for it! I already have the basics of the story and I can't wait to work on it and send the pitch to publishing houses! We'll see how that goes :)

And I also have a basic idea for the next webcomic I'll be doing. And how we'll see Roomie and Lillian again, since the story will be based in the same universe as GGaR, but with an entire new cast and new story to enjoy and experience! I'm very excited for it too. I'm excited for everything!!! (in a good mood these days, can you tell?)

And while all that happens, Headless Bliss will slowly but surely continue updating, once a week, for those who enjoy that part of my brain and soul :p

Soooo, that's where I'm at these days! What about you? How are you doing and how are your projects doing?

I'm doing swell. I'd gladly get a French book of yours! Between the internet and my Mom's French classes from moons ago I'd be willing to figure it out.

That all sounds great and I will definitely buy the French book too (if it will be possible to order it online.) As for your question, I feel vaguely guilty that I am doing absolutely fine. Winter is coming and I will live the coming months in near splendid isolation in my small Czech village, which suits me, since I have hermit-y tendencies. Even better, next week I will (with 99% certainty now) become the proud 'owner' of a kitten; black & white & awfully cute.

Oh! Yeah, of course. This project would not be anything related to pas work. That's also why I'm doing this for one volume and not some sort of series, I'm being cautious abt signing something with anyone and testing the fields, so to speak.

I'm not sure how it works with the "traditional" French/Belgian publishers, but I would expect they keep a big portion of the copyright. So, it might be a good idea to keep this project a bit separate from your other work to avoid any legal pitfalls. On the other hand, I think it's a fantastic idea! Please keep us posted on how it goes!

Good luck with the physical comic publication. I think that’s an exciting goal!

Faith and Valor have a good month creators. Love all that you do.

That's an exciting new goal!

We just completed a 4 month RV trip around the US!

Sounds wonderful! Good luck with the publishing. I don't see why they shouldn't give you a chance, when you've got more than a decade's worth of successful cartooning experience!
