Young growth

Well that's interesting, I was googling my own name "chloe" (thinking yet again about how to make my name more nonbinary, and "boohoo why meee all my siblings have unisex names and their all ciiiis" and all that) and it comes from the greek word "khloe" which means "young growth" or "young plant". Isn't *that* nice and oddly fitting while I was uploading this little picture here??

I do like my name, always have! And I love the meaning behind it! I just wish it weren't 100% for girls only no boys allowed grr

Anyway :D I originally wanted to post this very small drawing here and say something like "there really is nothing quite like planting in the sun" and here I am babbling about names. ...It can be both I guess!

There's really, honestly, nothing quite like planting in the sun<3

funnily enough Χλόη is still a relatively common (female) given name in Greece today, but it's pronounced very differently, something like "Hloy", and that initial "H" is like Scottish "loch" or German "Bach" or Arabic "khuya". That's a strange sound for us English and French speakers perhaps, but i think it sounds very pretty.

Hmm what about Cleo (in case you're actually looking for inspiration from your fans)? You'll just have to swap two letters. ^^

What about 'Clo'? (it could maybe be spelt 'Chlo') 'Clo' has a rather simple, neutral sound to it, and it could be used as short for 'Clovis'. I mean, personally I think 'Clovis' is a bit of a silly name to give anyone, but... eh, I dunno, I'm just suggesting it.

One thing is clear, feminine names never seem to become masculine, but the opposite happens all the time. "Want to make your female baby unique? Pick a name usually given to males! Want to make your male baby unique? Uh...make up new names!" If you're looking to change your name, how about "Clare" which could be Clarence or Clarice?

Wonderful. I was just feeding my little bonsai.
