December question! We need your input :D
Added 2019-11-15 20:27:31 +0000 UTCSO! December is really close, and we want it to be a really cool month, as a thank you for the huge support since we started! 363 patrons already :o
So I need to tell you 2 things :
-1st, December will work kinda like an Advent calender, old models that you might have missed will return!
-2nd, and that's where the poll is important!
We have what we think is a cool idea for a Christmas / winter / festivities theme, it would be useable to play, it'll not be something cliché like a small happy family around the tree, don't worry :D
So, either we let you vote like previous months, and you choose the theme, or you trust us on that one, and we have the reign to give you this month as a surprise :D
Thanks :D

Well then I just feel like we need to challenge you to make nothing but monsters and creatures!

2019-11-16 18:35:19 +0000 UTCHi guys, it's Mathilde here ! :D Just to give you a little bit more informations : we understand the concerns of some people and we promise you that it will not be a Santa or Christmas elves haha ! We want do bring you cool unique characters as usual, that can be used as NPCs (quest givers etc) or/and PCs ! And a boss as a bonus ! :) It's just that we have something fun and "friendly" in mind for this month! I know that some people would love more monsters/creatures but I'm not really good at it ^^'
2019-11-16 11:45:50 +0000 UTCHow about a compromise? Give us some choices and we vote for what we like from those choices. I agree with a couple of others. On the one hand, I trust you to deliver great stuff, on the other hand, I don't want Santa and Christmas Elves. miniatures. If it's stuff that's legit usable for other campaigns though, I'm down with it. Stuff like Yetis (I know EC3D just did the Kickstarter and I supported it, but I still wouldn't mind), Remoraz, Ice Devils, Mephits, Golems, etc, I'm down with that. Wouldn't mind some pine trees, either.

2019-11-15 23:02:49 +0000 UTCDefinitely a valid concern and I understand it, but personally see any months on Patreon that I don't like as my way of supporting the artist either way. If it's recurring, then I know I've grown apart from the artist and it's time to leave. Not criticising your opinion, I just wanted to add my viewpoint to the discussion.

2019-11-15 21:20:25 +0000 UTCHonestly—and I don’t mean to be rude, only to respond to your request for feedback—I’m not loving this idea. Will we be able to see the surprise before pledging? I ask because I really don’t have a need or desire for holiday themed minis. I get that some people are going to love it—and they have every right to get what they want—but I personally need to keep my subscriptions down to a minimum and to files that will actually see print/play. I left another Patreon in part because of a holiday surprise, because I need to weed out some subscriptions and I was frankly disappointed with that decision. It’s hard to justify paying monthly for files you aren’t thrilled with when there are so many other fantastic creators out there—like you. Anyways, I love what you have done so far and I know it’s not possible to please everyone all the time. Hope it works out!
2019-11-15 20:50:17 +0000 UTCAs long as it's not killer snowmen, evil reindeer, Santa the Slayer, Krampus and the like. I don't find those types of minis really useful and too many other artist are already doing them. And since I've just joined, having access to old models will be great!

2019-11-15 20:42:27 +0000 UTCThe quality of your models is top-notch. I trust you to surprise us!
2019-11-15 20:38:12 +0000 UTCI wholeheartedly support and trust your work. Can't wait to see what you have for us.
2019-11-15 20:30:42 +0000 UTCHaven’t seen one model you designed that I disliked, so surprise me :)
