I would love to see Aughra's planetary machine from the Dark Crystal.

BreakerMouse

medium sized items., clutter small items are fun but pretty easy to find, so things like a strange planetary device, or a a large weird alchemy distillery device,

Silverbeam Creations

Spell effect idea: How about a pillar/wall/doorway with a magic mouth? Couldn’t seem to find one when I’ve looked before.

Huscarl

Was going to do a table with stuff like that yes :D

alambic and alchemical stuff, mandragora roots like the one in Harry Potter, mushrooms cultivation, dancing broom, a bit hat, a strange cauldron

Will maybe not be template per se, but I think I'll do a bit more magic visual effects than planned :D

That's a fair point and a reasonable compromise on the idea I think. So I guess you are doing stuff like flame sphere and Bigby' s hand and whatnot? That's a pretty cool idea too.

I'm doing some spell effects actually, but 3 dimentional, that you can use to illustrate X or Y spell when used in game. And then I'll do some small props. Wasn't going for templates initially. Thaaat's not a bad idea though, will see end of the month if I have some time, though it's unlikely! I remember when we started someone asking for gaming accessories, but I prefer doing stuff a bit more ''unique'', there are many dice tower or plastic clear template for wargaming already :/

Maybe instead of sceneries this month you could do a set of spell templates for each of the different spell types, something that looks fancy like a cone template that looks like a fire breathing spell or a template for lightning bolt/fireball spell stuff like that.

Some cool ritual symbols or teleportation circles would be quite useful. Perhaps have the symbols of each school of magic integrated into placeable runes. Could also be used to represent runes of warding.

Lachlan Morris

Appreciated, thanks a lot :D

That's a good idea!

I love this idea, the issue is, if we do one like that, how many people aren't going to play that particular class or be interested in? I think it could be something added to the poll list maybe.

Sounds interesting indeed :D

Native american shaman

Love these ideas! Would also love a female firbolg nature/herbalist/druid. Firbolgs, especially female, are hard to find. I would love a good male dwarf knowledge/arcane cleric too

Ral Partha and Citadel used to do 3 stage characters. Apprentice, professional, master. Would love to see your take on that.

Joe Kushner

Some key words for this month after a quick brainstorming 😉 * kenku/necromancer * illusion/double-sided * Tabaxi/divination/tarot * Gnome/abjuration/cleric * Orc/herbalist/druid * ???/???

A gnome would definitively be cool !! I'm trying to figure out how to represent each school of magic and what would be best !

No matter how you do it, I would love a gnome wizard to be included. I feel like illusion magic isn't represented as much in minis, but if you could some how pull it off, that would be amazing!

MORE WOMEN, especially cute fat witches.

Tiara Agresta

Maybe some "bending" magic? More of a fantasy world than school-like things. Would love to see minis bending all four elements! And some spell effects too. But would love to see some martial arts magic. Just search "avatar the last airbender". For the furniture and stuff, think maybe some training grounds, great library, summoning circle, enchanting equipment, magical weapons and a rack, desk with scrolls, maybe a sitting miniature? A scribe of some sort. Dunno, just throwing you guys some ideas.

Gierszu

I definitely prefer a variety of adult spellcasters for different schools of magic over Harry Potter-esque schoolkids. Spell effects would be awesome, as would alchemy/artificer labs. Regardless of what you do, I know it will be fantastic!

Wouldn't have been HP of course, it was more to say students of magic academy :D

No Harry Potter please -_- HP minis are out there, also kid minis got released in December. Please do something semi-original like mutator or alchemist. Maybe with a dark fantasy twist. November miniatures well excellent.

Sebastian Dzik

This, so much this! :D

Sebastian Dzik

A witch hunter like Solomon Kane!

id like to see an artificer type mage/ wizard and maybe a construct they brought to life

a alchemist or dwarf sage will be nice

Esteban Faundez

My vote is for whatever you draw inspiration from. Having the last three months, I know I'll print, paint, and enjoy whatever you offer

I'd like variety in races at the very least. I've got enough human wizard/sorcerer types as it is. Orc, bugbear, tabaxi, dragonborn, etc would be excellent!

Einjuden

Alchemist Lab would be fantastic! And would allow me to run a side adventure that I've always been wanting to do =)

Einjuden

I like the school of magic idea with different races. Variety is always nice.

I would Love to see an alchemist lab nobody has done this yet so it is much needed. As for characters I think perhaps 3 teachers and 3 students representing the different facets of magic would be cool.

Lisa Kellogg

* Skyrim-style alchemist/enchanting table (The Mage’s College in Winterhold is what I was thinking of when I voted) * Spell Effects * Alchemist’s Garden ^ Study nook

Tiara Agresta

The ideas for different mages from different schools of magic is brilliant! Additionally, it would open the door for using the miniatures for Frostgrave, where each wizard has a particular school of magic they represent. I love miniatures that can pull double duty!

Nick Porterfield

Seconded. Like...Radagast from LOTR looks like a disaster, but he's got so much character. It would be nice to have some non "hoity-toity" models

Astrolabe / Observatory would be awesome

Alexandre Valois

Maybe, you be super amazing and do one for each school, male and female both heroes and NPCs and some truly amazing scenery like floating book cases and crystals etc. Would be nice! But anything will be great so can't wait.

Matchu Egan

Yes, variety will be the key-word ! :D I'll try to make each character really representative of his magic school, and very unique !

I love some variety with non traditional mage types. Maybe something thematic for each school and a non "gandalf-y" wizard to incorporate that. Half-orc evocation wizard, gnome illusionist, dwarf abjuration wizard etc. With some more exotic looks instead of the robes and pointy hats. Maybe something along the vein of the wizards from the Dr. Strange movie that could double as a Monk of the Elements.... stuff like that.

Personally, I'd prefer higher level (non schoolish) stuff.

We need a fat and not serious mage like in Terry Pratchett. Just a touch of comical in the middle of serious business from different magical arts

I think uniforms are unecassary. Uniforms make it too modern, wheras no uniforms makes it more universal and timeless.

Teevee

Please no HPs... Schools of different kinds of magic would be great. Elementalist, conjurer, necro, herbalist, etc. as already mentioned :) What about adding a mini to represent fae magic? Or a Turkish/Moorish sorceror? Alchemist? Hopefully a mix of genders and ages too!

Sunette

Spell effects !! This is a really cool idea ! :o

Also alchemy and herbalism stuff would be cool. Not just crystals or orbs. More of weird sources of magic? Shrunken heads, monster parts, mushrooms and herbs. One other really useful theme would be spell effects.

Kaspar Kannelmäe

I jave had a university type setting before withbyoung adults instead of kids. Lecturers, magic students carrying books, etc. Also possibly some study desks. You could also do a monstrous failure... Like a large slime withblegs and arms and eyes as if someone has been poorly transmogrified.

Teevee

Different schools of magic would be very nice.

Kaspar Kannelmäe

6 schools of magic works for me.
