June's poll result : KING'S COURT won

Hey we're actually making a video game about a Jester at the moment! I would love to see one in your style, definitely would be printing him out and keeping him on my desk to motivate me to actually make my game haha!

I am so looking forward to seeing this court! Idk what you have in mind, but it would be dope with elizabthan style clothing for the royals, as that is a bit harder to come by than medieval folks. Ooh ooh and I'd like to second people's wish for a throne!

For the king and queen I would like to suggest to include a seated version on a throne and a separate throne to serve as furniture. Very much looking forward to see what you come up with...

* For the head guard I should have precised that I had in mind someone in ceremonial uniform, a bit like a minister of the armies ! Basic guards could a be a theme in the future polls ! :)

I think "Head of the guard" or the "Master Magician" should be replaced by the "Jester" , rather than the "Councellor". Nobles are always great for NPC usage, but I think most here have a lot of Knights/Soldiers and/or Mages/Wizards already. The Councellor would be a great unique model though :) - The Jester aswell :)))

We are not going to add theme this month, so it would win again? We'll see, maybe we'll have a post to ask if that's ok, don't want to annoy too many people if we do.

Can we just do the desert tribe one for August since it's gotten 2nd place like 2 months in a row?

You did some royal guards for Danny Herrero's Lost Adventures Kickstarter last year. Any chance of revisiting that motif for the Head of the Guard? Also, for sceneries... maybe a very long or circular table that could be used for the King's counsel or grand feasts? Maybe a mannequin used when the king isn't wearing his battle/ceremonial armor?

How about a hedge maze, like gardens of castles sometimes had? Maybe modular, like the arena you did last month. Or some painting frames, so we can print small pictures on paper and frame them in a ball room or library of other's tiles? And not to complain about the mini's, but what is a court without servants? The court couldn't function without them :)

Trumpet blower(s) with banners hanging off their trumpet(s)? Of course thrones and banners and banquet table and benches. A Mr Claypole type jester would be fun. Oh man can the head of the guard be a large character? Or maybe an enforcer type be added so there is something along the lines of The Mountain from GoT?
