Updates on the situation, and little question at the end :D

Hello everyone :D

Just giving you some infos on the situation as you can see that we're late on the release (but no worries), and a question at the end!

🔸 The release will be finished most likely Monday end of day on Google Drive! We'll send you the MMF redeem link before the end of the month, but no worries, I can see the list of who was active, so no matter what happens, you'll get the link for your release!

🔸VERY sorry for the delay, we clearly aren't happy about it and it's creating a lot of stress and pressure on our part.
April should run way smoother and you'll get the release sooner than what we're doing right now! We aren't expecting the real life stuff that happened to happen again haha!

🔸 We'll do a proper post ,but theme for April will be 'Western fantasy', it's clearly above the others. You'll see some sketches before end of the month to get an idea of what will be done!

🔸 We have a little sneaky plan underway, but at some point during this year we'll do a direct release day 1 of a theme you don't know about. This is our security theme that will have us get ahead of our schedules. It'll be a full theme in line with what we do usually, nothing too wild so you won't be surprised I promise! It's very needed for us, and will better for everyone!

🔸 We had a lot of opinions on the voting system. Some like it, some don't want it and would like us to do as we please, some would like us to grab the 3 most voted theme, and go from here. Please let us know what you think about that, maybe we can do better for you and for us!

Have a great week end :D See you very soon!

Right? I want them too haha!

I just know I want goblins. XD

It's written in the last post I did an hour ago! Sending the link and posting in a few moments now! MMF redeem link as soon as all files are validated by MMF!! You'll get the google drive link in your Patreon messages, so you can't miss it!

any news on march release its weds now??

Maybe do a vote for how to handle the theme from here on out? :P I like the idea of you doing your ideas because it lets you create what you want. Hope you are doing okay, I'm happy to get the files late if it means you're looking after yourselves.

Do your own ideas, no voting.

Adam Randall

You can still message if not an active Patron I believe! But no worries, tomorrow I'll send a message to every active Patrons so they can get the link in the event of them leaving.

Ducking out until I see the April preview, since I generally don't like Western-themed stuff. Hope the MMF and Google Drive stuff goes through fine, since I won't be able to message on the 1st (or possibly the full month if I end up indeed not liking it enough to back in April).

The problem with voting, is that "newer" people who have not been around, collecting for awhile, keep asking for the more "common" stuff. I see it in the other patreons I support (about 80) I prefer when the creator just does what they want, develops a "style" and their own identity. Taking suggestions from the group is good, It can keep you grounded, but at the same time, it can be so grounding you are buried.

PUGDOG Enterprises, Inc.

You can do whatever you want as long as it is fantasy related since i have no use for things such as post-apocalyptic or robots for example. I had an use for everything you released so far. As long as it stay this way and most of your designs are supportless i will keep supporting you. I cant say i am very thrilled by the whole western thing but its the first time i feel that way.

Nick

Agreed!

Eric Lee

I like the polls, they give me an emotional investment in the theme. But if there is something you are passionate to create, just pick a month and go for it! As long as it could fit into a Middle Earth or Elder Scrolls like fantasy setting, I'm sure I'll want to paint it :)

I don’t care about doing polls. I’d rather see you working on what you are passionate about. In the end I think that makes everything more sustainable (stress wise) for y’all and results in better releases for us!

You do whatever you need to do.. I mostly rely on the mmf links anyway, because I support twelve patreons plus loot studios.. so typically don't have time to download as soon as something releases

Agreed!

Agreed 100%

I really love your minis. As a fellow creative person, I think you need to balance what people would like verse your production time as an artist. If you did 4 polls a year with ten options each poll, you could pick the best three ideas people vote for. And then release them in order of the voting. Keep your head up, you guys are great artists, but you need to figure out a comfortable production schedule that isn’t always putting you behind schedule. I don’t need a vote every month. I subscribe because I know there’s going to be awesome figures every month.

Eric Lee

I second voting a few months ahead at a time, it really took a lot of stress off of me as a fellow creator.

Josh Davis Miniatures

Maybe it would be worth doing polls every six months, and releasing miniatures in that order. Even if something places last it's simply the last set to be released, I'm sure I speak for everyone here that we love your work, and we simply vote on which one we want first. Don't worry about the delay, as a writer friend of mine says to his producers "do you want it now or do you want it finished?"

I support you because I like what you do. Even when options I don't like win , it's still good stuff. My vote is you just do what you want and I'll support. do what inspired you is my vote.

Matthew 12 Monkeys

What he said... I couldn't agree more! Whatever works best for you, I am here for the whole journey.

Tijnemanske

I think Top 3 is a great idea, as it solves the divide in opinions. Plus, you won't have to do polls every month, but just once every three months!

Mike Jay

I've been very happy with what you've been making. I like the polls to see what ideas you have running around in your head but they don't ruin my day if I don't get the theme I voted for. All the best from here on out.

Jimmy Trinket

it is more important you are inspired to make a theme, than that we chose it. polls are nice but if a different choice is made, that is ok by me. Anyways, good luck with the RL stuff, I am sure making will commence again when the hassles are over. Patreon is about supporting great creative artists, not imposing deadlines on them.

For your question... It doesn't matter to me how you/we choose the next theme. I like your style so I will stay. If it is a theme I don't like I will leave but still follow you and if the next month is better I come back. For your personal situation... Stay strong!

Adam

Polls are no priority to me, I strongly believe that artists who do what inspires them aren't just happier but it also has great effects on the Work itself. Regardless of poll or no poll I'll stick around Take Care, hope life calms down a bit for you two!

TheMorrigan

Hakuna Matata! What a wonderful phrase Hakuna Matata! Ain't no passing craze It means no worries For the rest of your days It's our problem-free philosophy Hakuna Matata!

Dgonatan Gorden

It is SO SO SO SO important that you take care of your mental health above all. Rather cut down on the amount of figures than have to cave completely under stress. BIG TIME GOOD VIBES ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

You should do the ones YOU want. You’d have more inspiration and enthusiasm that way anyway. I/we are gonna love WHATEVER you put out and that’s why we’re here.

Sean McInnes

I’m new here, but I’ve always liked your work. Once I could afford it, I supported. I don’t mind that you’re running late, I’m sure that in the long term, we’ll enjoy a lot of great sculpts. I really dislike polls for monthly themes, though. If someone falls in love with a theme that gets second place again and again, it starts to feel very bad. It could interfere with appreciating the excellent things that come along. I’d rather have whatever occurs to the artist. I don’t wanna know what I’m missing.

David Ammann

Thank you!! Really appreciated :D

Thanks a lot for your support!!! Means a lot, really!

Real life happens, you guys are awesome and make great models, don't stress 😊 hope you guys are well!

Jessica & Brent Sorensen

Love your guys stuff. Life happens. I don't see Patreon as a store, I just like supporting the artists
