July WIP : Crab-Folks question : Modular arms, or not?

Hello everyone :D
I have a question for you. Here is a VERY work in progress version of the Crab-Folks I want to do for this month, to go against the Pirates. The silhouette will change a lot, it's a very rough 1st draft.
My idea is too have some with 2 arms, some with 4 arms, tweak each of them to have unique facial features, some will have clothing (as if they were going on the surface and wearing them to fit better with the other species maybe?).
I want them to have a good variety of weapons / props to hold in their hands or claws.
Turns out that, with them being crab / insectoid looking, the arms can be modular very easily, it's just a matter of having a ball joint and done!
So I want to know what you would prefer, modular arms, or fully assembled models?
Modular would be great for options, you could do a lot of them with a unique set of arms.
I know some people prefer everything already attached, but supporting minis with 4 arms + weapons could be on the tricky side I bet!
You let me know, so I can have an idea of what is wanted, and I'll see what I can do when the model progress. ( I'm personnaly in favor of modular! )
Take care!
Comments
normally I am not a big fan of modular hands etc but it makes sense to do the crab folk this way, so go for what works best and have fun.

2021-07-03 22:37:00 +0000 UTC2 or 3 varieties of crab claws would be cool. Some like the lobster claws shown, one pair long and narrow, one set. That has one large and one smaller claw like a fiddler crab, etc.

2021-07-03 22:01:40 +0000 UTCI don't really see them as big monsters, but more as a specie of humanoid / crab folks, so they still use tools etc. For the ones who have arms, it's more options for weapons :D It's fantasy after all haha!

2021-07-03 20:31:08 +0000 UTCI am usually not a fan of big monsters with weapons, ex. ent with sword. Seems like a big tree branch if dense enough to smash.
