News and plans for January : to read :D

Hello everyone!!!

I hope you had a good month of November!

1st, let me show you some of the  models Sitrane / Nick tested and put together for us :D We're very happy about them! Quite proud of this month!  (bases aren't from us!)

And also the finished 2nd hero!!!

So, what will we be doing for January theme?

We would be very interested in doing some sort of continuity to the current December theme.
We could offer another modular mercenaries set, but this time of women! As well as another set of heroes and NPC of course.

Expending this theme would mean :

-5+ more bodies, this time women!
-Another set of women heads (Depending hair style, it could be attached to torso as a variant)
-More arms and weapons options, that could be used on both set!

December being a month of time off for small holidays, it's an interesting choice for us as we are already in the mind set for the theme, and we can start working on it instantly when release is ready later this week!

ALSO!!

Tomorrow we'll post links to the new starter pack, with some added models and props!

And maybe....the return of the advent calendar like we did back in 2019?!

(and more...)

Thanks again everyone for your great support! If you can, please share our Patreon around! You might have noticed that we lost quite a lot of people since this summer, getting them back slowly would be amazing :D

Also I found Piano Wargames who do a stellar job for troops, and have an upcoming Kickstarter this December featuring cavalry/artillery (but also access to the previous stuff): https://pianowargames.de/ (apologies for promoting another site - you're not in the same market segment though)

Thanks! I do know them. They don't seem to have done much Napoleonic stuff, mostly 7YW F&I and now Independence War... And I'm really looking for Bennett sister models to have my dose of P&P vs Zombies. ;)

Geburah

If you don't already know of them you might want to take a peek at "Madox Historical" here on Patreon. They do Napoleonic, 7 years war, and similar time period modular figures. I don't recall any lady figures but lots of toop type stuff.

Eric Jackson

It wouldn't be too hard to convert the weapons in a 3d program like Meshmixer or Blender.

Eric Jackson

Worth a look!! I'll do some researchs :D

Oh I don't own the plastic models, so if it fits, it's just pure luck hahah!! Also mines are done with round pegs, and I believe the official models are flat junctions? But glad to hear you're on board :D

Perfect!!!

That's what I lik to read haha!!

Thanks a lot! I'll have to get on Mathilde's level for that haha, will be interesting!

Let's gooooooooooooooooooo!!

Awesome :D Happy to hear!!

Thank you!! Totally agree, I really liked doing this theme personnaly, as a wargamer 1st, it was super fun to do modular parts like that!

Also, any interest in the Napoleonic period? Joe McCullough recently released The Silver Bayonet (through Osprey), a Napoleonic Gothic Horror skirmish game... I'd love to see some regency ladies in your style, ready to go Monster Hunting. ;)

Geburah

Happy to see some Frostgrave-compatible models - do they actually fit with the North Star plastics? That would be truly stellar, as there are never enough bodies on the sprues. Also more female models (and new/fun female faces in your style) are always welcome! Also, loving the Soothsayer. That "hair in water" effect is really interesting.

Geburah

Female sounds great to me.

Eric Jackson

Aw hell yes!

I love the way you design female characters, so your January plans sound ideal to me.

More Frostgrave?! Be still my beating heart! You KNOW I'm in -- I'd love to see this theme continue and see even more pieces. You guys are already well on your way to having the best 3D printable Frostgrave soldiers out there!

Nick Porterfield

I would love to see a continuation of the current theme!

Absolutely! Sounds good to me. Besides, if you’re inspired to do so, you should!!! A creative’s work is ultimately better when they’re keen to do it!
