September WIP : Orc woman 02 and tweak on 01!

Great rework on the first one. I see what Francois Leclerc is saying about them still looking too strong. I don't fully agree but I understand. the smaller scale on the table might make them hard to tell they are female. I don't see that as a bad thing though. it could even be part of their culture. Mandalorians from star wars are nearly unisex on the battlefield and outsides would think they were headbutting allies when in reality that is how couples would kiss on the battlefield. At this point I'd leave them as is, and just cause the male orcs to be a little larger with a bigger head with strong jawlines and stronger features. let the humans be confused about the gender of the orc that just whooped their butt. lol Edit: to break up the wall of text

Yep, if the males are bulkier, that will be fine. I was looking at bodybuilders pictures (both male and female) and the men do seem to have rounder muscles (bulkier) while women are sleeker.

I think if I do them really softer, they'll just look like humans with tusks! Men will be bulkier with stronger features for sure. I am going for a Dark sun / Conan look, as stated in my 1st post about the orcs! There isn't any really link between our releases. We have pirates, desert, cold..Whatever works for the themes! As I said in the 1st post too, I'll keep the body base for future orcs with different themes, so more armor etc will happen later down the line!

I like the new one better. I still think the facial features are a little too strong. They still look too much like their male counterpart. It's probably very small details such as less bushy eyebrows. (Addendum: I did not look at female bodybuilder images before making some of my comment. The body looks fine. It's just a personal opinion on making them slightly more feminine but then I'm not an orc. :) The legs of women do seem to be a little more tapered than those of men. ) They do fit well in a Dark Sun environment. I hope we will have versions with the more traditional European climate of your other minis. Eventually.
