So happy to showcase the first version of hair technology I have been working on!
Its not optimized yet and there are some currently existing bugs.
1. Your frame rate might drop considerably, I have not fiddled with it enough to figure out the best way to optimize it.
2. Hair base and scalp still needs work to look more realistic and appealing.
3. UE4 hair technology is new and has a few issues like:
a) transparent objects like smoke and fire will overlap the hair for some reason.
b) hair forgets to simulate when running.
Anyways just wanted to share this, with you guys, it was nice to take a break from programming and do some artistic stuff.
