Because of how glorious Angela's character design was, and how filled with tragedy her love story with Theodora is, Jeremy wanted something that really spoke to that class 1930's noir jazz found in dark back alley bars with a lead singer pining for a love lost. We absolutely found that in Naked City by Chris Egan and Martin Williams.
It's midnight under the broadway lights, it's a figure in a great fur coat walking through the mists of the streets, it's two people under the park streetlight finding solace for short while. A lovely departure from the darker and deadlier themes, wouldn't you say!
