Radious Total War Mod - Warhammer 2 + Submods Updated 29.05.2020

Hello Everyone, Team Radious here!

Today is a good day, for today is update day! After going through a series of marathon updating sessions (progress info here - https://www.patreon.com/posts/warden-and-info-37281720), our new version of the Warhammer II Overhaul is finally ready!

As usual, the main dish consists of full support and rebalance of the new features (including Eltharion and Grom faction mechanics), units and lords from the DLC, FLC and the Total WAAAGH patch. On top of that, we’ve also spiced it up with smaller and bigger tweaks. As a result, all new CA additions have been brought in line with our custom content and we’ve done everything we could to once again give the game that famous Radious feeling. Below, you can find the changelogs, for both the main Overhaul and our numerous Submods, if you wish to check up on the details.

We would like to thank everybody for waiting patiently as we worked hard to deliver you this update. As you now enjoy the fruits of our labour, we move on to support mode, looking at your feedback and working on any issues which might arise in the future.

Radious Warhammer II Overhaul Changelog

· Full support of the Total WAAAGH update, The Warden and The Paunch DLC and Imrik + Big Black Orc Boss FLCs;

· All new units completely rebalanced, reworked and fully adapted to the Radious Overhaul internal balance;

· All new abilities, spells, attributes and ancillaries fully adapted to the Radious Overhaul internal balance;

· Many new attributes for almost all Beastmen and Wood Elven units, plenty for Skaven and others;

· Many new and unique melee and missile weapons added to the new RoRs and other special units to reflect their special roles on the battlefield;

· Many bigger and smaller balance changes across all factions;

· All chariot units have now 50% more crew and machines, their overall stats were also improved.

· Mistwalkers are now recruitable by all HE factions. Initially, they are capped at 4 of each type, but this can be increased if you capture Tor Yvresse (each level increases the total cap). Grim has other opportunities to increase the caps by various other ways, meaning he will be able to wield them in greater numbers; 

· Mistwalkers now gain proper tech/skills bonuses from the most fitting chains, same as Imrik’s dragon units and new Greenskins units;

· Old Greenskin RoR have been fully updated to receive latest skill/tech buffs from new Greenskins features;

· Various new attributes for all Troll units;

· All special units and heroes have been enabled in custom battles (including multiplayer) without limits or separate tabs;

· Imrik’s special Dragon Battles will now be much harder and the enemy unit composition will be far more varied;

· Reduced scrap cost of Greenskin unit upgrades + raiding stance adds 1 additional scrap;

· Greenskin unit upgrades can now be used on all of our custom units;

· Updated various visuals of our custom Black Orc units.

· MP limits doubled for multiplayer/custom battles, custom units have no limits at all;

· Lore friendly update: The Spire Guard of Tor Yvresse is now renamed to Custodians of the White Tower

-- Even among the most skilled Blademasters, only a fraction are judged worthy to be appointed as the first line of defence of the greatest repository of arcane wisdom in the entire world; 

· The Stone Trolls are now renamed to Snow Trolls

-- Snow Trolls live in the coldest mountains, where orcs find them and offer them a meal and a new cave until it´s time to kill something;

· Many recruitment changes across all factions, all new units properly implemented in various building chains, all our custom units fully adapted to new building chains in Greenskins and High Elven rosters;

· Warden’s Cage ability duration increased, but reduced overall debuffs it provides to unit. Duration increased to 45 seconds from 25, recharge increased to 180 seconds from 120;

· Updated garrisons for new buildings and improved Elven Colonies garrisons for all factions;

· Improved Unit Cards of all DLC units – big thanks to r1kko for that. In the near future our custom units may receive same treatment – you can check now several updated cards for Bretonnia and Dwarfs;

· Many AI recruitment priorities changes, further tweaks to army composition;

· All new buildings fully rebalanced, all effects tweaked, costs changed;

· All new technologies fully updated and rebalanced, fitting custom units properly assigned to new skills and techs to receive bonuses from them;

· All new AI profiles fully updated to latest version while keeping our core changes in aggressivity, recruitment and other areas;

· All new factions properly adapted to the core mod internal balance, custom Radious units included into their rosters;

· All scripts fully updated - including Chaos, Beastmen and Savage Orcs invasions, Bretonnian peasant economy, Vortex rituals and much more;

· Chaos Invasion improved in both stages, more armies will spawn with more advanced horde buildings and stronger unit types.

· Updated building progression Icons to latest version.

· Updated all custom UI, loading screens and much more to latest version, to fully support all new and old content;

· Big balance changes to all Squig and Spider units.

· Big balance changes to all Dragon and Phoenix units.

· Improved raiding and sacking for Greenskins, technologies provide bigger buffs to it aswell.

· Rebalanced Dragon Princes + RoR version.

· Frostbite contact effect now also reducing slightly melee attack and defence.

· Burnt contact effect increasing weakness vs flames.

· Skaven Censers contact effect now also reducing slightly base damage.

· Discourage contact effect now also reducing slightly melee attack.

· Take cover contact effect now also slightly reduces unit speed.

· New garrisons for all Fortress Gates - all races are now fully supported.

· AI on Very Hard+ difficulties gets small additional bonuses to economy, town + horde growth and unit upkeep;

· Many, many bug fixes;

Submod Changelogs

Warlords

· Full support of the Total WAAAGH update, The Warden and The Paunch DLC and Imrik FLC;

· Mistwalker units now receive bonuses from Anointed’s custom skill bonuses where appropriate;

· Created and assigned appropriate recruitment categories for all the Lords;

· Changed Herald of Mathlann’s armour colour to deep sea blue, 

· Small localisation changes to skills;

· Small balance changes (e.g. certain Lords received an increase to upkeep and recruitment costs);

· Changed Anointed’s ‘Sky Masters’ skill to ‘Allies of Old’;

· Moved Irondrakes with torpedoes to “First Rank...” skill and removed Flamethrower units from it;

Hordes Reborn

· Changed the way vassal income works for player factions, to prevent the abuse of income bonuses meant for the AI;

· Changed some AI priorities, meaning that it should be even more aggressive;

· Small balance and effect changes;

 

If you have any issues/crashes etc: 

1. Avoid using any mods not created by our team if you are not 100% sure about compatibility, always best to ask us directly first on our social media/discord etc.,

2. Unsubscribe from all of your mods. Then, go to your Steam\Steamapps\Workshop\Content folder and delete the 594570 folder. Resubscribe to your mods and start the launcher to let it download everything again. Try launching the game.

3.  If the above step doesn’t work, go to C:\Users(Your Username)\AppData\Roaming. Back up your saves from The Creative Assembly folder there, and then delete the whole folder. Cloud saves will not be affected. Start the game.

4. Make sure you are not opted in the Beta. Our mod is updated for the latest live patch and dlc, wont work on any older or beta versions.
