The Heroic Update is here! Radious Total War Mod - Warhammer 2 Updated 16.05.2021!

Hello Everyone, Team Radious here!

With spring arriving late for those of us living in Europe (10°C in the middle of May!) we thought that now would be a good time to release a large scale update for our three part Warhammer II Overhaul, so that you all can safely spend the cold days conquering the lush lands of Lustria! We hope that you enjoy the content that we have prepared and remember to bring sunscreen when  sightseeing the (most assuredly) abandoned pyramids of Nehekhara! As usual, please don’t hesitate to offer us feedback or report any bugs  which you might come across.

- Additional unit balancing.

- Fixed bows and firing animation for Yeomean on foot and Royal Longbowmen.

- Swapped Shields for The Spears of Orion units.

- Fixed voices on Orions units.

- Starting Tomb Kings army capacity increased by 1 (from 2 to 3), AI gets 1 additional starting army slot on all difficulties (4 in total).

- Modified Dawi traits working on heroes aswell now.

- Banshee now has Frostbite effect on the weapon.

- Mourngul Haunter now has Frostbite effect on the weapon.

- Wight Kings and Tomb Kings Princes now have Sundered Armour effect on their weapons.

- Norscan Werekin Hero now has Frostbite effect on the weapon.

- Skaven Assassin Hero now has Magic Attacks effect on the weapon.

- Improved combat stats of most melee and ranged combat heroes.

- Improved all character chariot mounts.

- Improved damage of various explosive abilities.

Radious Total War Overhaul Part III 

· Fixed Norscan factions being unable to build some of their custom Landmarks,

· Fixed missing Immortality skill for Goblin Great Shamans,

· Added missing melee skills to Norscan Chieftain Lords,

·  Improved and added new skills, mounts, and abilities (mostly various  auras) to heroes. The abilities and mounts are also accessible in custom  battles.

o Necrotect;

- New mount: Warsphynx,

- Improved ability: “Wrath of the Creator”,

o Skaven Assassin;

- Two new abilities and their associated skills: “Too Late, Prey-Quarry!’ and “Master of Martial Arts”,

o Banshee;

- Two new abilities and their associated skill: “Banshee’s Wail” and Banshee’s Shriek”,

o Wight King;

- Access to the “Vigour Mortis” and “The Chilling Aura” abilities and their associated skills, with slight balance changes,

o Tomb Prince

- One new ability and its associated skill: “Unholy Presence”,

o Warrior Priest

- One new ability and its associated skill: “Strength of the Penitent”,

o Dwarf Engineer

- Access to the “Big Boom” ability,

o Death Hag;

- One new ability and its associated skill: “Bathed in Blood”,

o Goblin Big Boss;

- Two new abilities and their associated skills: “Run Gitz Run!” and “Squash Em’ Ladz”.

o Witch Hunter;

- Two new abilities and their associated skills: “To the Exclusion of All Else” and “The Heldenhammer Protects Us”,

o Runesmith;

- Three new abilities and their associated skills: “Rune of Battle”, “Rune of Stone”, and “Rune of Spellbreaking”,

o Thane;

-  Three new/adapted abilities and their associated skills: “Master Rune  of Grungni”, “Master Rune of Passage”, and “Master Rune of Stromni  Redbeard”,

o Exalted Hero;

- Two new abilities and their associated skills: “Favourite of the Dark Gods”, and “Mark of Chaos Undivided”,

o Empire Captain

-  New Mount – Demigryph. The Demigryph is experimental, as it uses the  Griffon animation on the campaign map – the only one that would fit. Its battle animations are that of an actual Demigryph. We are open to feedback whether we should keep this change or not.


If you have any issues/crashes etc:

1. Avoid using any mods not created by our team if you are not 100% sure about compatibility, always best to ask us directly first on our social media/discord etc.,

2. Make sure you have no mods or mod remains in your Data folder of the game.

3. Make sure your game is always updated to latest Live build. Do NOT use any beta builds! Avoid beta tabs in steam game settings/properties entirely, there should be always selected - no beta participation. If you have anything else there you asking for big troubles.

4. Unsubscribe from all of your mods. Then, go to your Steam\Steamapps\Workshop\Content folder and delete the 594570 folder. Resubscribe to your mods and start the launcher to let it download everything again. Try launching the game.

5.  If the above step doesn’t work, go to C:\Users(Your Username)\AppData\Roaming. Back up your saves from The Creative Assembly folder there, and then delete the whole folder. Cloud saves will not be affected. Start the game.

6. Verify game cache.

7. Use KMM launcher.
