Hey folks,
I hope you've been enjoying the maps I've produced. I am trying to find a balance between themes that are really dramatic and unique and those that are more commonplace but versatile. There will definitely be some more space fantasy and steampunk content to come, but I am going to try and give some love to classic high fantasy themes as well since I know that is what most of us are playing most of the time. In that spirit, I have just released the Hemlock Campsite, inspired by a recent backpacking trip in Shenandoah National Park.
Next week I will be releasing this month's boss monster map pack, which will be the Treant's Glade, followed by a survey for the next month's theme. Expect some of the variants to tie into previous releases so that they might be used together. On December 18th, the Tabletop Creators Guild* (or TTCG, *name pending) will be releasing The Astral Express, a lighthearted holiday-themed free adventure. I'll be making the cover art as well as at least one map for the project, and will be releasing patron-exclusive variants this month to accompany the release. On a personal note, I look forward to running my friends through this as a spiritual successor to Meezul's Mysterious Mansion, which was an absolute blast to run as a one-shot on the night of Halloween.
I've recently decided to retire the CR 1 tier, capping it at ten patrons and leaving it a legacy tier as a thank you for my early supporters. I plan on editing previous posts to include the new CR 2 tier, but this might take a little while to roll out and is not a top priority at the moment. Rest assured that if you are in the CR 1 tier, you will continue to have access to content even if the default tiers are advertised at $2, $3, and $5 price points.
I now have 7 map packs up on the Roll20 Marketplace, and am looking into the DM's Guild and DriveThruRPG as potential venues, so feel free to spread the word if you know any DMs who might have use for a particular map but aren't ready to commit to a subscription.
I also have a Redbubble page up and running to sell physical merch of some of my illustrations. It's a humble selection of small pieces, but I look forward to seeing it grow and perhaps integrating some of this merchandise into a future patron tier. Check it out here. I've got a run printed and on its way, and will be hand-signing art prints for giveaways on social media. Please follow me on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to maximize your chances to win and stay tuned for the upcoming promotions on those platforms.
I hope those of you in the US who celebrated had a happy Thanksgiving and that you all have a safe and happy holiday season. As always, thanks so much for your support.
