In a city of sorrow, floating above the lava flows and burning cinders of the plane of fire, sits an opulent palace of gleaming brass. Eight minarets surround a large central dome at the building’s center. Guards look down from behind stone crenelations atop the gatehouse, beyond which the imposing projection of wealth and power can be beheld in all its grandeur. Blemished by a long and withstanding tradition of exploitation and suffering, the building’s magnificence is contrasted by the harsh landscape below, and its hospitality contrasted by the cruelty of its masters. The lord of this palace, a calculating and unyielding efreeti, awaits within.

I hope you enjoy this month's boss monster map and token pack, the Brass Palace. This release includes a four level map depicting a palace in the fabled city in the plane of fire. Variants include a palace in a desert oasis, and another with a flooded courtyard full of lilypads. Three efreet tokens are included for CR 5 and above patrons.

Additionally, all patrons will receive a complimentary track from my friend McRoMusic, who has again collaborated with me to help set the tone for the encounter. This elegant composition evokes a sense of sorrow, and helps highlight the location's extravagance while hinting of the suffering endured within its walls.
