The Winterlands

Rime clings to the scattered bones spread haphazardly about the wide mouth of a cavern. With human-sized icicles overhanging precariously about the rock wall, and the biting cold piercing to the bone, the cavern offers the promise of shelter in spite of its grizzly warning.

You approach a hunter's simple campsite, with an oiled canvas stretched taut behind a downed log and a pair of pines. A fish is tied to a stake driven into a stump buried partially in the snow. It's unclear what the hunter was attempting to lure or how long they waited, but the fish doesn't seem to have done the trick.

An imposing set of double doors stands stories-high before you, inset within the bare, frozen face of granite. Massive footprints in the snow mark the comings and goings of humanoids great enough to break through months of ice crust, their imprints both wide and deep enough to serve as graves.

This release includes two smaller-scale encounter maps (Bear Cave-18x24 and Campsite 20x14), and one large one (Giant's Dugout 52x28), all themed for your winter adventures. For this release, the base maps (CR 2 tier, or those used in the promo images above) have been designed by and created for Adventures Await, for use in their funded Kickstarter publication.
