Also Adam Smasher is an important guy btw. He plays a bigger role in the video game. I can get people who haven't played being sidelined by some random strong guy but to sum him up he is just the op hitman of Night City But yes he was there to be the antithesis of David since his desire to get fully chromed up and make a name for himself is where Adam Smasher (at the time of this show) is the only one who has what he wants. The game is set a year after this show and the MC you play as has a similar resistance to cyberpsychosis as Adam Smasher.
