It seems like Charlie's 'fatal flaw' is that she has 'too much faith' in her people's 'inherent' goodness (or that she believes sinners HAVE 'inherent goodness,' when that isn't the case for everyone... case and point: Valentino). Sorry, long comment incoming: Also (and I've got my theory cap on), it seems like showing the audience AngelDust's contract is just the set up for his major arc (If Charlie learned about it NOW, on Valentino's terms in HIS residence, I think the episode would've taken a turn into Charlie hyperfocusing on a way to break or take the contract, rather than the emotional connection between Angel and Husk... which was also a set up for Angel to tell the cast and/or Charlie HIMSELF about his contract, on HIS terms and in HIS safe space when he feels emotionally connected to the rest of them; Husk only knew because he guessed and was in a similar situation.). I think down the line, there'll be an episode dedicated to showing us the full abilities of Charlie and what she has jurisdiction over (contracts, souls, power, etc), and how she desperately wants to help Angel in his own contract after she learns about it (and maybe with the help of Alistor transferring Angel's contract to her to get him away from Valentino? Since she presumably can't *break* contracts, but perhaps can *take* them? idk i'm spitballin') We gotta remember that we're only 4 episodes in, technically still learning about each character in a varied cast, and planting seeds for each sinner's growth arc.
