I wouldn't even describe Ready Player One as Ready Player One (American), because even if it produced Ready Player One, at least America has enough of a culture to have also produced some of what Ready Player One regurgitates - and also all of the stuff that Ready Player One *pointedly refuses to* regurgitate.
