Way too late for this but you guys are thinking the wrong genre if you want to find the sacred male wounded stuff. You need to look at war movies. You’ll have these scenes ogling over men getting hurt as some sacred part of protecting “da nation” in a bunch of those. Lone survivor is the one I think of with the most of it

2023-05-12 08:50:58 +0000 UTCReally, the Macchiavelli reference is exactly what you'd see in John Wick. One of the bad guys in Wick introduces himself reading Dante and then turns the book to the camera to show off the big "Dante" on the cover and says "Dante!"
