S3E17.5: Romy and Michele's High School Reunion

Okay okay okay, how about a fun one. I know the Card Counter and To The Bone were heavy, and you've all been so good. With the state of the world as it is, maybe we just need to watch a 1997 comedy about two best friends who want to impress their small-town high school.

S3E17.5: Romy and Michele's High School Reunion

Comments

Devon's story about the tractor reminds me of the fact that I turned up to prom in a series 2 Land Rover wearing an all black suit with a green tie

Amber

Tucson Arizona mentioned

Maxwell Smith

...And then I made my whole polycule watch this with me.

Karis Ritenour

Finally watched it. My wife crushed on Vogue editor lady because suit, I crushed on Romy because eyes voice and hair, and we both crushed on Janeane Garofalo because Also, I don't think the hosts pointed out how homoerotic the mechanics were when they listened in on the "sex". They were all rubbing each other, and the one guy was sucking on a cigar that was pointing straight out of the center of his mouth.

Andrew Dunn

A stage musical is very much in development!

Finn Ross

I will never be brave or cool enough, and I *am* stupid.

Greg Dean

When Romy and Michele explode back into the reunion in their Fantastic homemade dresses I felt awed. WOW. I never expected a 90's comedy to be this moving. If I can ever embody the radiant colours of the world and walk like they do, that'd do just fine.
