Lamia's Library
Added 2022-04-19 17:37:52 +0000 UTCWindswept dunes abut the half-buried sandstone walls of an ancient library. Pyramidal structures extend atop minarets over clay-shingled roofs, eroded by the ages but no less dignified for the loss of some of the masonry’s finer details. Inside, it is rumored to house a hoard of treasured texts, both historical and arcane in nature. Every care is taken by the library’s guardian, a fearsome lamia, to ensure the value of the collection is not compromised. This occasionally includes devouring those who would dare light a candle or torch in the presence of such flammable wealth. Those few who have managed to appease the lamia with new additions to her collection have spoken of a wondrous network of silvered glass mirrors that bounce light throughout the interior, and of magical carpet runners woven with threads that glow a dim blue in the sun’s absence.

This patron-selected boss monster map will be the fourth and final paid post of April. I'm getting this content out a little early before I take some time off at the end of the month. I hope you all enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed creating it!
