Megadungeon Level III
Added 2023-05-01 03:51:58 +0000 UTCCrystalline chambers thrum in ancient frequencies, glowing brightly enough to sustain various flora deep underground. Blooming flowers are dotted between grasses and moss, creeping over the mud and rubble.
Tracks lead down from the iron mines into an industrial quarter. The sound of rushing water, punctuated by the ringing of hammers upon anvils, echoes through the halls. A massive water wheel creaks, churning a mill within an old stone building that sits upon the beach of a fast-flowing water body.
The water flows deeper into the caverns, past the welcoming torchlight and into the menacing traps of the massive creatures that nest here.
The flow of the water slows as it settles into a series of shallow pits. The waters are reddened from the heaps of twisted, rusty armaments. The instruments of war are sized for giants, and seem to have been discarded in an age long past.
