Beauties, currently only 10 Red Roses Playing Card decks are left at the Murphyβs Magic warehouse. When these decks are gone the Red Roses are officially sold out after almost four years.
If your budget permits, I would be very happy if you guys grab the last few decks from Penguin Magic since they are straight connected to Murphyβs Magic.

A few decks will be still available on www.blackroses.cards and on other websites. But they wonβt be able to restock and itβs pretty likely that the price will rise after the shops notice that the decks are sold out.
The Red Roses Playing Cards originally were a bonus deck for my very first Black Roses Playing Cards crowdfunding campaign in 2014. Only eight decks (β¦) got printed! Iβve paid $136.80 for them. It doesnβt sound like a lot but this amount plus shipping hurt me a lot back then. I also underestimated the production costs a bit. But I simply wanted to have something more special to reward the people who supported me the most.
The very first Red Roses edition had the same faces like the black deck. In terms of phonetics, I also found the name Red Roses Playing Cards beautiful. It has the same flow like Black Roses Playing Cards. Back then these were the only two decks that I had. So it was very obvious to call the red deck Red Roses and the black deck Black Roses.
Before I could print the Red Roses with USPCC in 2018 Iβve printed the Black Roses ImmergrΓΌn Playing Cards earlier in the same year. But "Green Roses" sounded weird to me. And green roses are probably also the unsightliness roses. So I decided to continue with βBlack Roses Playing Cardsβ for all upcoming decks.
With the redrawn vintage looking faces and the different name I told myself that the Red Roses Playing Cards wouldnβt even be a part of the Black Roses series. They stand for themselves as something more special. I was probably just looking for a justification for the other name but today of course I know the Red Roses are a huge part of the Black Roses Playing Cards.
