Erik and I met early in 2004 and he became the first person to ever pose for me nude. I think it’s fair to say that neither of us knew what we were doing, me as a photographer working with a model and he as the model, but we got some good results.
This was long before Instagram and I honestly can’t even remember if there was a platform for these to be shared at the time. The people I did show responded well to them.
Four months after the first shoot, we followed up with a second which was very similar in mood, then after a six year gap Erik came back to model for me to be part of my first gallery exhibition which launched in 2011.
