In my head I was trying to create timeless photos and tattoos put a timestamp on the photo because there are always new trends going around. While I still believe that, there will always be a dozen other things that will put a timestamp on the shoot as well. The model's hair cut or even physique can be a hint to the time frame of the shoot.
Rob was coming to Sydney and we did this very simple shoot in his hotel room using the available light. He is covered in a random assortment of tattoos and in some ways a lot of tattoos can be easier than one or two. This shoot was a few years ago now and since then he's collected even more tattoos.
