The story of Philippe

From memory we found each other on Model Mayhem, a site for models, photographers and makeup artists to network etc. We decided to meet up for a drink to discuss the shoot and when I walked in I was immediately struck by Philippe.
He is a tall man with very broad shoulders, an athletic body and obviously a striking, beautiful face. It did come as a surprise for me to find out that he was from the Ukraine. That was not what I was expecting.
On the day of the shoot we got up early and headed to La Perouse on the water and to say that Philippe looked good in the soft morning light against the rocks would be an enormous understatement.
I remember getting a goofy grin on my face while I was editing the photos because I was so happy with how they turned out. Philippe was a joy to work with and such a lovely guy. He laughed when I got a text message in the middle of the shoot asking if that was me doing a shoot on the rocks. It turns out some friends were anchored in their boat just off shore and had just woken up to see me photographing the naked man with the body of a god. A good way to wake up.
Sadly Philippe has long left town, shortly after the shoot in fact and last I heard was living in the US.
