An emotional moment
Added 2023-06-20 10:37:28 +0000 UTCAs of about 30 minutes ago, the last of the tweaks and adjustments to the images for my exhibition were finalised. It feels emotional and strange to be done.
I'm not exactly sure when I decided to set this target but I think it was about a year ago when I realised there was enough of a catalogue of work ready to release as downloads to free up some time to work towards another goal.
Don't get me wrong, shooting for the downloads brings me a lot of joy but it was time to set a new challenge for myself and my creativity and boy did this do it. It's a natural part of a creative process like this to second guess yourself at various points along the way and I certainly did that.
Finally I have arrived at 24 images that I'm really happy with. In my mind they all work together without being repetitive. There is a mix of studio, outdoor and underwater shots.
It looks like I'm going to have two days in the gallery to meet people and chat, so please come along and say hi.
