The story behind Camp
Added 2023-07-20 08:30:01 +0000 UTCI've debated telling this story for quite a while but I've decided it's time. There weren't many models I knew at the time that I thought would be up for this shoot. I decided to explore CAMP and masculinity as my submission for an online magazine at the time.
Tate as he is known in the adult industry, and I had known each other for years. Not very well but I'd always had positive experiences with him. This turned out to not be one of them. On the day of the shoot he was really late but once he arrived we actually had a great time. Being an adult performer I needed someone with little to no inhibitions and he fit that bill. Between setups he was filming solo content for his onlyfans (now gone) wandering around the studio. At one point he even climaxed on the floor.
It was after the shoot that it all went really south. He told me I had made him uncomfortable and then threw a wild tantrum at me online because I hadn't done Hollywood levels of retouching on his skin. Believe me it's already a LOT more heavily retouched than I normally do. He's lived an intensely recreational life and it shows in his skin and in his mental health.
Like I said before I have had some really lovely interactions with him but he is now known for being really unpredictable and unreliable around town and I have flatly said I won't work with him again.
Shortly after this experience he issued a vague, very generalised apology about his behaviour in an instagram story but I'm not sure anything has changed.
