The story behind Gone Bush
Added 2023-08-03 08:30:00 +0000 UTCAbout five years ago, some good mates of mine had gone on a holiday and made friends with Aaron. The next time Aaron came to town he and I were introduced at the pub by my friends and we got on like a house on fire.
Shortly after that Aaron and his new man were visiting town and he was keen to try his hand at doing a shoot. So one morning the three of us went for a drive down to the National Park south of Sydney and walked along a trail that I knew of until we found a suitable spot.
The lighting was all over the place on this shoot but we made it work. That is one of the pitfalls of doing a shoot early in the morning outdoors, it's constantly changing and fast.
It seems to be a thing that happens a lot but Aaron hadn't eaten that morning to look as lean as possible. So once we finished up his shoot we packed up our stuff and walked back out. It's amazing how often I've finished a shoot somewhere and on the way out hikers will come along, narrowly missing out on a surprise nude man.
Once we got back to the car, we found somewhere for Aaron to have a big hearty breakfast and another coffee.
Back in March, Aaron was back in town and we did another shoot that will be out in a few months. He's got a different look going on now but he's looking sexy.
