Added 2023-10-21 22:00:04 +0000 UTCEight years almost to the day of my first shoot with Mikael in a park just outside of Copenhagen, I found myself back in that amazing city for just one night. Flooding had meant I couldn't get to where I had intended to be and I was flying out of Copenhagen the next afternoon, so I spent an unscheduled night there and caught up with Mikael for a drink. The next morning we planned for a quick, simple shoot in my hotel bed before he went to work.
He had done a lot more shoots since our first collaboration, some of them relatively erotic but none of them had shown his face in the same shot as clear full frontal, let alone erect. This was the first time he'd gone past that self imposed boundary and I am so flattered that he took that leap of faith with me.
Mikael is such a lovely guy with a very generous spirit. We had only interacted on social media before my first visit in 2015 and he spent a lot of his time showing me around Copenhagen and then on the day of our collaboration was trusting enough to be climbing all over a stack of logs in a public park, completely nude. But then, the Danish are so fine with nudity they don't have any laws banning simple public nudity.
