Not quite my style
Added 2023-10-31 08:56:54 +0000 UTCEvery year on Halloween there are photos that pop up of people going all out with their party costumes and it's so much fun. There are countless examples of really cool themed photo shoots that go with the Halloween vibe. Zombies, demons, devils, day of the dead etc but sadly there's not enough of them that are nude.
It's not really a vibe that I dive into. They feel a bit cosplay and for me it instantly means the photo isn't applicable once that holiday passes. I really admire the effort that some people put into it but for every image of a beautifully executed concept there are a million cheap costume shop versions.
Several years ago for easter, Buzzfeed did a shoot of a few nude guys with their butt cheeks painted like Easter eggs and ever since then people have been knocking it off. On Halloween those but cheeks are painted like a carved pumpkin and it's fun to see but not very original.
I think I'll just keep admiring it but not really buying into it.
