A little while back someone suggested I create a profile on a site called Adult Folio which is a networking site for models, photographers, makeup artists etc but without restrictions on adult content. As long as it is consensual and legal I believe it's ok.
There is a lot of fetish stuff and very erotic stuff including solo, couples and across all gender combos. There is one aspect of it that I'm not really a fan of and that is POV work where the photographer is physically interacting with the model. Sometimes they are touching the model or penetrating them with their fingers, sometimes they are being "serviced" by the model or even full intercourse. I'm trying not to judge because art and creativity is so subjective but when I see work like this I just assume the photographer got into this work to have sex with models.
There have been a lot of high profile photographers accused of this and Terry Richardson is the most notorious, often posing nude with female models and touching them etc.
Even if it's very much consensual and agreed beforehand it feels like a manipulation of the power dynamic and at it's most simple, there are very few options on camera angles and genuine creativity if the photographer is holding the camera and shooting straight down or only holding the camera with one hand.
Gotta say, I'm not really a fan.
