Down the rabbit hole I go.
Added 2023-12-27 07:56:55 +0000 UTCA friend of mine once commented that when I dive in to a YouTube channel or a theme, I dive deep. He is right. Today I found myself watching nude dance videos after seeing the trailer above a few weeks ago. Sadly I can't find the full documentary anywhere online that is available in Australia. We seem to miss out on a lot of stuff that is available everywhere else.
This documentary follows the rehearsals and creation of a dance show called Anima Ardens featuring an all male, all nude cast. There are some very obvious and somewhat gratuitous reasons I want to watch it of course. Eleven very athletic nude men performing is quite appealing.
Some other reasons are also behind my desire to watch it. It's no secret that I love photographing dancers, acrobats and athletic guys. Firstly all that work does amazing things for their bodies but secondly, they are in such beautiful control of their bodies and know how to move them. Performers also know what looks good and know that doing a photo shoot is just a performance.
