The frustration
Added 2024-01-20 22:00:02 +0000 UTCThis morning one of my models messaged to say he's joined the military and on their demand, he's withdrawing any consent for his imagery to be used. Specifically any imagery that includes nudity. That essentially means any imagery we have created together.
That is incredibly frustrating for me. I've had to go through my website downloads and remove all his downloads and remove any posts featuring him on here as best I can. What I find even more frustrating is that about 3 months ago he was on onlyfans and twitter posting full explicit content. While I get people's circumstances change and it isn't just a hypocritical change of heart, it means I have now lost a chunk of my work.
I don't know that there is actually a legal way for him to revoke consent if I have a signed release form for each shoot, which I do, but I'm also not going to jeopardise his new career and piss him off. I will decide to never work with him again if he changes his mind back again.
Thank goodness he wasn't one of the models included in my exhibition.
