Give the gift of a photo shoot.
Added 2024-02-22 09:17:08 +0000 UTCA friend of mine had been saying for a long time that I should do commissioned shoots but whenever someone enquired about a shoot, I'd say the price and never hear from them again. Then a few weeks ago someone enquired about buying their boyfriend a shoot since he'd been working so hard in the gym. I told him the price and said I'd put some gift vouchers on my site for him.
He bought a location shoot for his boyfriend and after posting about it on Instagram, someone else has also bought a shoot for his partner's 40th birthday as a gift.

I firmly believe that everyone should pose for a shoot at some point. It's liberating and no matter what issues you have yourself, seeing yourself through a photographer's eyes is so much better than the way most of us see ourselves.
