I miss the "glory" days.
Added 2024-02-26 19:00:06 +0000 UTCIt wasn't all that long ago that the world seemed flooded with very homoerotic behind the scenes videos from calendar shoots for people like the French Rugby Team (aka Dieux Du Stade), the Warwick Rowers and more recently Greeks Come True. Sadly they all seem to have gone by the wayside. The Warwick Rowers are now called Barefoot Men or something but it's all a little different.
I just found this video on youtube which is a bit of a tease of the Russian Gods calendar by photographer Serge Lee. Sadly though there doesn't seem to be a full movie and the calendars are now obviously out of date. The quality of this video though is beautiful and reminds me of the early days of the Dieux Du Stade that were so eye opening for me.
I still own the DVD's of those behind the scenes even though I have nothing to watch them on. I'm sure they were partly responsible for my photography interests.
