Walking the tightrope
Added 2024-06-20 08:30:01 +0000 UTCIt seems I'm getting caught up in algorithms lately. One of my posts on here was hidden for violating guidelines the other day but I appealed and asked what about it was breaking the rules and they reviewed it and un-hid the post.
A couple of times in the past week I've shared a story on instagram of very much safe for instagram posts and they were taken down, appealed, reinstated, taken down, appealed and reinstated a couple of times each before not being reinstated. No idea what on earth someone was thinking was wrong with them.
it's the fine line I walk when posting nude artwork. Nudity is very polarising. Thankfully to a large portion of the world it's not a big deal but the people that are against it are vocal. I'm also very aware that rules need to be in place to protect people under a certain age and I am very happy to play by those rules.
It can however, be very frustrating when an automated system takes down your work for breaking rules when it very clearly doesn't. I did bring this on myself.
