The trouble with creating content involving nudity and trying to share it with the world is that some platforms have very murky guidelines and policing them can be very strict. I've had a channel on vimeo for quite some time but as of last week, that is gone.
I received an email saying due to repeated breaking of guidelines my channel had been removed with no chance of getting it back. I emailed their trust and safety team and said that I had not received any warnings and didn't believe I had broken any rules but they replied saying I'd had three notifications. When were those notifications? All three were on the same day precisely four days earlier.
Apparently my videos were selling sex and offensive. It's a real shame that there was absolutely no recourse to appeal or have a discussion and it feels very unfair when there are definitely worse videos on the same platform.
Oh well, we live and learn.
