Added 2024-07-30 09:52:21 +0000 UTCEarly in the year I started thinking about buying a new camera. My main camera currently was purchased second hand 5 years ago and it's never quite felt amazing. As I've posted here before I'm keen to try my hand at creating more artistic video content and the Canon R5 has some great capabilities. As I started looking at specs and things I realised that there was a lot of solid speculation online about the R5 Mk2 being released.
It was officially released a couple of weeks ago for pre-order here in Australia and on Sunday night, I took the plunge and pre-ordered it. I'll have to buy an adaptor to use the lenses that I currently have but over time those will be replaced with good quality lenses designed for the mirrorless system.
This purchase was NOT cheap but it's thanks to you guys that I'm in a position to do it. It's only because of your support through subscribing that it's a possibility and that is not lost on me. I'm very, very grateful and in return I'm going to create some hopefully amazing content for you all.
