The story of Sal.
Added 2024-08-04 01:14:28 +0000 UTCSal is a very recent model of mine. So recent in fact that you haven't seen his shoot yet. I photographed him four weeks ago I believe and then went away for a couple of weekends on a vacation from Sydney and work. As a result it has taken me some time to get round to editing the images but that's what I spent my day doing yesterday.
This shoot served as a reminder to have clear communication around the model's comfort levels. Sal was quite happy posing full frontal and even semi-hard but with the caveat that he needed final approval on the images. That is totally fair. A model needs to be comfortable with what is out in the world and Sal is in the process of getting residency here in Australia and at this stage is relying on his work for the government sponsoring him.
We initially had the two downloads I had planned separated by them/look. The first being a bit of a slutty cowboy vibe which was Sal's idea and the second being a bit of a combination of looks. Once he saw them though he had a little panic about work and the visa situation and we decided to rework them into a non-frontal download and a frontal download and only when he's ready will the spicier version get released.
Sal is such a sexy guy and cheeky fun to work with so it was an easy thing to agree to so that we can maintain a great working relationship and keep collaborating. Believe me the frontal stuff will be worth the wait.
