On Saturday I went and picked up my new camera and I'm very excited. It's getting it's first test run this weekend both outdoors and in the studio.

Part of my reason for buying this camera was the video capabilities since my old camera was a bit more limited. Now that I have more options I want to experiment but also stay true to my own style.

There have been a few different artists working in male nude video that I've enjoyed but the more I think about it the ones that have really resonated with me are the ones who don't rely on all sorts of tricks in editing. Keeping it simple and elegant feels like the style that resonates with me the best.

Bruce Weber is a legend in photography and his videos are just gorgeous. He's a slightly problematic old gay man but there is absolutely no denying his skill with a camera nor his taste in beautiful men.
