There are rules of engagement in just about every aspect of life. Some are legally binding. Some are just common courtesy. Then there is social media. Working in nude photography means that there are games to be played in using Instagram to market my work and I believe I've been pretty careful in playing by the rules of that game.
However, lately I have been stuck in a merry-go-round of an image being removed for breaching guidelines, me requesting a review, the image being reposted, rinse, repeat. Sometimes on the same image 2 - 3 times. Sadly there have been too many of those and now my account ~ instagram.com/brentonparryphotography ~ seems to be caught with the reputation of a problematic account by the automatic system.
I have been locked out 4 times in the past week meaning I have to log in on a computer, accept or request review of whatever has offended them now and wait with baited breath for the next one.
So. In the interim I have started a backup account (brentonparryphoto) which I will grow very carefully but I have also been told that if I disable (not delete) the account that is giving me grief for a couple of weeks it is like hiding til the bots go away and it might fix it. Worth a try.
Having hit 10,000 followers recently it would be a shame to lose the account, especially with new content coming.
